The Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against Northeast Metro RVT by a score of 54-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Greater Lawrence Tech also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Northeast Metro RVT's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Zullo, who scored nine points along with four steals. Jack Murphy was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Greater Lawrence Tech's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Northeast Metro RVT, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Greater Lawrence Tech won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lowell Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th. Northeast Metro RVT will be home for the holidays to greet Minuteman Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
