Canyon got themselves on the board against Borger on Friday, but Borger never followed suit. They blew past the Bulldogs 14-0. Considering the Eagles have won seven matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Canyon has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. Borger is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Canyon will square off against rival Pampa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Borger is set to take on their familiar foe Perryton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
