Make it six blowout wins for the East Lansing Trojans this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Holt 73-41 on the road. East Lansing's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Lansing to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayce (JL) Branson, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Cameron Hutson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
East Lansing pushed their record up to 12-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Holt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
East Lansing will head out on the road to take on Okemos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Okemos will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 25th, while East Lansing is ranked third). As for Holt, they will be playing at home against Mason at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
