After a disappointing two points in their last matchup, Powers made sure to put some points up on the board against Triangle Lake on Friday. Powers were fully in charge, breezing past Triangle Lake 57-7. Followers of Powers probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Powers take on McKenzie at 3:00 PM. Powers will really need to gear up for this challenge, as McKenzie will be their toughest opponent yet. Triangle Lake will stay at home against Jewell at 6:00 PM. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
