Having just played yesterday, the Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors will get right back to it and host Huntingdon Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Calvary Christian Academy will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
On Thursday, Calvary Christian Academy came up short against Blair County Christian and fell 57-44.
Despite their loss, Calvary Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Tyrell Lapp, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Lapp is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. Micah Lloyd was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Huntingdon Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 44-39 to Blair County Christian.
Calvary Christian Academy's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2. As for Huntingdon Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
