Two dominant guards in Grant Doeringer and Braylon Myrick are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Christian Community Warriors will head out on the road to face off against Horizon Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Christian Community is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
Last Thursday, Christian Community earned a 53-46 win over the Eagles.
Meanwhile, Horizon Science Academy pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Lawrence Upper.
Christian Community's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Horizon Science Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Christian Community beat the 44-37 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Horizon Science Academy's Nehki Bryant, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
