The Berean Christian Eagles lost against the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles back in February of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Berean Christian was beaten by the Ugly Eagles 59-29. Berean Christian has struggled against the Ugly Eagles recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Clayton Valley Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from James Moore, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Perryman, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Berean Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Clayton Valley Charter, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-7.
Berean Christian will head out on the road to face off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in College Park's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Eagles have been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road. Clayton Valley Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
