The South Dearborn Knights waltzed into Friday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 61-46 victory over Jac-Cen-Del. That's another feather in the cap for South Dearborn, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
South Dearborn got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brodie Teke out in front who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Adam Kunkel, who scored 12 points along with 5 steals.
South Dearborn's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Jac-Cen-Del, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
South Dearborn will head out on the road to face off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jac-Cen-Del won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rising Sun at 7:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Rising Sun focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Saturday.
