Frankie Dardano continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 276 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Vann, who rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Despite the loss, George Washington still got an impressive performance from Jared Runnels, who rushed for 242 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Hayes Dwyer, who rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
Denver North's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for George Washington, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-6.
