After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dinuba, McLane was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Westminster Lions a 13-0 shutout. Considering the Highlanders have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

With the victory, McLane broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6-1. As for Westminster, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

McLane didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Orange Cove on the 15th. As for Westminster, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-1 win against Ridgeview on the 15th.
