Volleyball Recap: Clear Falls Gets the Win

Clear Falls saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against the McNeil Mavericks by a score of 2-0.

Clear Falls never let McNeil on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-6.

Sophia Green was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had ten digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season.

Clear Falls' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for McNeil, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Clear Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against St. Stephen's Episcopal on the 14th. As for McNeil, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Georgetown on the 14th.
