Paraclete (Lancaster, Calif.) snapped
San Dimas (Calif.)'s 8-game winning streak, with a 28-20 victory on Saturday.
The Saints pulled ahead on a touchdown, and subsequently went into halftime leading 17-14. The Spirits took the lead for good with a passing touchdown in the third quarter.
With the win Paraclete extended its winning streak to 12 games. PHS defeated the Lions 56-16 last week.
Tyler Carvalho stood out for the Lancaster school in the win. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
San Dimas'
Erick Ware played well. He kicked two field goals and two extra points. His performance brought his touchdown total to zero on the year.
The defeat comes as a step back for San Dimas, which notched a 31-28 victory over San Marino in its previous outing.
