There's no place like home for St. Joseph Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on October 9th. They came out on top against the St. Joseph Flyers by a score of 18-10 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bloodhounds in their matchups with the Flyers: they've now won four in a row.

St. Joseph Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mauricio Vega, who rushed for 70 yards and one TD. The Bloodhounds also got help from Ezekiel Escamilla, who showed off his sure hands for 94 receiving yards.

Another reason for the win was St. Joseph Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Jesus Osio was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.
