Fork Union Military Academy extended the longest winning streak in VISFA Virginia Prep this week by beating Christchurch School, 21-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Blue Devils.
Collegiate moved up to 108 from 211 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cougars were able to make the jump by beating the Cougars 35-26.
Fork Union Military Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Christian Hackenberg threw for 93 and one touchdown and Roma Michael had 32 yards receiving. On the ground Jeremy Bell chipped in 76 yards. Bell helped Fork Union Military Academy's passing attack out by catching one ball for 23 yards.
Fork Union Military Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hackenberg has thrown for 524 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Michael has 11 catches for 136 yards. Bell leads the league in rushing with 413 yards.
St. Christopher's took down Norfolk Academy 40-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
