North Posey found their leader in underclassman Mallory Luigs, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists. That's the first time this season that Luigs pulled down eight or more rebounds. Alyssa Heath was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
North Posey has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Evansville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
North Posey won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Heritage Hills at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. Heritage Hills will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
