SA Roosevelt lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tyriana Robinson, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Taaliah Miller, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
SA Roosevelt has been struggling recently, as they've lost 13 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Clark, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 22-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. SA Roosevelt will take on Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Reagan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than SA Roosevelt in Texas (Reagan is ranked 244th, while SA Roosevelt is ranked 1004th). As for Clark, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Brandeis at 7:30 p.m.
