On Friday, Seiling are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Sharon-Mutual at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Seiling took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Carnegie last Friday as they made off with a 51-20 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Seiling had established a 42-14 advantage.
Meanwhile, Sharon-Mutual had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They lost to Cherokee by a decisive 18-38 margin. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Sharon-Mutual was outplayed in the second half.
Seiling's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Sharon-Mutual's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Seiling can add another positive mark to their record or if Sharon-Mutual can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Seiling's step.
