Kurek's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Quarles, who put up six points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, The Woodlands Christian Academy came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Lions, posting a 65-31 victory. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Lions are ranked 619th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The Woodlands Christian Academy pushed their record up to 18-7 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Cypress Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-17.
