Orion had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.6 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Geneseo Maple Leafs with a sharp 53-33 victory. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Orion pushed their record up to 23-5 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.1 points over those games. As for Geneseo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-22.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orion will venture away from home to take on St. Bede at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Geneseo, they will take on Moline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Moline's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matchups.
