On Saturday, Lisbon/St. Dominic narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Winthrop/Monmouth Academy 14-12.

The win bumped Lisbon/St. Dominic's record up to 5-1. The loss dropped Winthrop/Monmouth Academy back to even at 3-3.

Next week Lisbon/St. Dominic take on Poland at 7:00 PM. Lisbon/St. Dominic are catching Poland at a good time: Poland have scored fewer and fewer points over their past four games. Winthrop/Monmouth Academy will look to defend their home turf against Madison/Carrabec at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
