Atherton is 0-6 against Beecher since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Atherton Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Beecher Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. Atherton has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 4.
While Atherton couldn't quite beat Genesee on Tuesday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 47-point loss they were dealt on Friday. Atherton fell just short of Genesee by a score of 52-50.
Meanwhile, Beecher made easy work of Bentley on Tuesday and carried off a 61-35 victory. 61 seems to be a good number for Beecher as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Atherton dropped their record down to 3-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Beecher, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
