The Greendale Panthers can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They blew past West Allis Central, posting a 64-27 victory at home. The victory was just what Greendale needed coming off of a 75-44 loss in their prior match.
Greendale found their leader in underclassman Greta Dombrowski, who scored 22 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dombrowski has scored all season. Tatiyana Edwards was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Greendale's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12. As for West Allis Central, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greendale will take on the Hawks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Prairie School will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for West Allis Central, they will head out on the road to square off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wisconsin Lutheran knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine contests -- so hopefully the Bulldogs like a good challenge.
