The Reed Raiders won against the Galena Grizzlies last Thursday with 70 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Reed took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 70-42 win over Galena. The win was nothing new for Reed as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading Reed to victory were Dominic Williams and Tj Coulter. Williams scored 16 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Coulter scored 29 points along with four steals. The match was Coulter's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Josh Peterson, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Reed now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Galena, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.
Reed will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Spanish Springs at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Spanish Springs will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Galena will take on Damonte Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Damonte Ranch is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
