Soccer Recap: Twin Peaks Classical Academy Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Twin Peaks Classical Academy was not quite Nederland's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 5-3 to the Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Twin Peaks Classical Academy of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Angel Ortega and Owen McCracken scored all three of Twin Peaks Classical Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Twin Peaks Classical Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Nederland, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Caprock Academy on the 26th. As for Nederland, they will face off against Windsor Charter Academy at 4:00 a.m. on Friday.
