The Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots lost against the State Line HomeSchool R Rush back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Surry HomeSchool was dealt a 60-31 loss at the hands of State Line HomeSchool R. Surry HomeSchool has not had much luck with State Line HomeSchool R recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Aden Clark continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for State Line HomeSchool R, scoring 35 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Clark has scored at least 25% of State Line HomeSchool R's points. Mia Wolfe was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Surry HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for State Line HomeSchool R, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Surry HomeSchool has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Alamance Christian at 5:30 p.m. on December 19th. Alamance Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. State Line HomeSchool R will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greater Cabarrus S at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
