On Saturday, the Pinedale Wranglers faced the Lander Valley Tigers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Pinedale walked away with a 55-46 win over Lander Valley. Winning may never get old, but Pinedale sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Elyn Bowers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Erica Wilson, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Pinedale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Lander Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinedale will take on Big Piney at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Pinedale's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matchups. As for Lander Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Worland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
