Peninsula was dealt a 76-48 loss at the hands of North Thurston. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Peninsula in their matchups with North Thurston: they've now lost four in a row.
Peninsula lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Daisy Peay, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Grace Richardson, who scored seven points along with nine assists and seven rebounds.
Soraya Ogaldez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Thurston, scoring 30 points along with five assists and four steals. Ogaldez is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 17 every time she's taken the court this season. Grace Lee was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals and five assists.
Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for North Thurston, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.
Peninsula will be playing at home against Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peninsula is coming into the match with three straight defeats at home, meaning Mountain View will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. North Thurston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
