The biggest upset of the week belonged to Eisenhower, who defeated 320th ranked Cambridge Springs, 21-14. Rob Wilston threw for 173 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 72 yards during the win.
Maplewood's Miller Peters recorded the longest rushing play in District 10 Region 2 A this season in his game against Mercyhurst Prep last week. Peters' team bested the Lakers as he sprinted for 94 yards on the play and finished with 131 in all.
Wilston provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Knights topped the Devils. Wilston's key target this week was Bryce Garris, who caught 2 passes for 76 yards.
Baer Eric was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 196 yards on 14 carries as Mercyhurst Prep topped Iroquois. Joseph Swanson also contributed to the rushing game with 112 yards on the ground.
5-foot-8 quarterback Wilston of Eisenhower is the league leader in passing yards this season with 752. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Adams. The Cochranton star has 14 catches for 258 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, James Penley Jr's team beat Cambridge Springs 21-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Knights.
