Miller has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Fairfield Christian Academy Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Miller beat Berne Union 34-28. The victory was just what Miller needed coming off of a 73-4 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Fairfield Christian Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 49-41 victory over Grove City Christian. The squad ran away with 29 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Miller's victory ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-12. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
Miller came up short against Fairfield Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 47-34. Can Miller avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
