Argyle is 8-2 against Ryan since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will square off against the Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Argyle will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Argyle had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Denton on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 3-0 victory.
One reason for the win was Argyle's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-7.

Ryan now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Argyle, their victory bumped their record up to 25-3.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Argyle has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Ryan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Argyle's way against Ryan in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Argyle made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
