Basketball Recap: Bradon Prock's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tonasket over Lake Roosevelt

Tonasket lost against Lake Roosevelt back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tonasket Tigers took a 66-52 bruising from the Lake Roosevelt Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Raiders are ranked 47th).

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bradon Prock, who went 7 for 13 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Prock has posted since back in December of 2024. Kristian Jones was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight boards.

Tonasket has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Lake Roosevelt, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Tonasket will be playing at home against Brewster at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tonasket is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.6 points per game this season. As for Lake Roosevelt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-70 victory against Lakeside on the 25th.
