Basketball Recap: Carson Kuykendall Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat HALO

On Friday, the Victory Baptist Warrior earned a 60-53 win over the HALO Wolfpack. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warrior.

Victory Baptist got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Kuykendall out in front who posted 11 points. Kuykendall has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Brayden Jameson was another key player, putting up six points and 15 rebounds.

Victory Baptist's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for HALO, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victory Baptist and Bible Baptist Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for HALO, they will be playing at home against Killian Hill Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
