Williams couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-21 punch to the gut against Live Oak last Friday.
Durham had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Bradshaw Christian last week as they made off with a 35-8 win.
Durham's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Williams's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Durham can add another positive mark to their record or if Williams can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Durham's step.
