Jenkins barely beat Buckhorn the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 8-2 win on Monday. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Jenkins pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Buckhorn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Jenkins has already played their next match, a 6-5 victory against Knott County Central on the 15th. Buckhorn has also already played their next game (against Hazard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
