After losing to North Nodaway/West Nodaway the last time they met, DeKalb decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. DeKalb came out on top in a nail-biter against North Nodaway/West Nodaway, sneaking past 42-40. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
The win bumped DeKalb's record up to 2-4. North Nodaway/West Nodaway are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
DeKalb will take on South Nodaway/Jefferson at home at 7:00 PM next week. DeKalb will be strutting in after a victory while South Nodaway/Jefferson will be stumbling in from a loss. As for North Nodaway/West Nodaway, they will face off against Northwest. These teams both have set a high bar for this matchup after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests.
