Wickenburg Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evan Gustin, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Gustin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Justen Smith, who scored four points.
Wickenburg Christian Academy's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-2. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
