Linden is 0-4 against McNair since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Linden Lions will head out on the road to take on the McNair Eagles at 7:30 p.m.
Linden suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by Weston Ranch at home and fell 85-43. While losing is never fun, Linden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1151st, while Weston Ranch is ranked 79th).
Meanwhile, McNair earned a 55-45 win over Chavez on Wednesday. The victory was just what McNair needed coming off of a 113-34 loss in their prior contest.
Linden bumped their record down to 5-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for McNair, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.
Linden came up short against McNair when the teams last played on January 3rd, falling 64-58. Can Linden avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
