The Joshua Christian Knights can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 57-8 win over Mercy Prep Academy at home. While fans of Joshua Christian might be used to big wins, the 49-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Joshua Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Hanks out in front who dropped a triple-double on 16 points, ten rebounds, and 12 steals. Hanks hasn't dropped below five steals for three straight games. Addyson Archer was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Joshua Christian pushed their record up to 10-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Mercy Prep Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Joshua Christian will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Methodist Children's Home comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Mercy Prep Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Storm at 5:30 p.m.
