 Despite the  loss, Patrick Henry saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Madin Gardini  scored 12 points. Gardini continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played.  Damien Carmichael was another key player,  going 5 for 10 en route to 12 points.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Coronado, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Saturday. They strolled past Otay Ranch with  points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game  59-45.
 Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Patrick Henry, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
