 Like Keys Gate, Mater Academy Bay also got a great game from a two-way player:  Alana M.. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over six innings pitched. M. was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 M. wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Mia P., who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Keys Gate's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Mater Academy Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keys Gate will  take on Westminster Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Westminster Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2  runs per game  this season, so Keys Gate's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mater Academy Bay, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Mater Academy Charter at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Mater Academy Bay is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.7  runs per game this season.
