In what's become a running theme this season, the St. Brendan Sabres gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 59-33 margin over Archbishop McCarthy. The victory was just what St. Brendan needed coming off of a 72-32 loss in their prior matchup.
Jaden Castro continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points. Gianna Vindigni was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
St. Brendan now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Archbishop McCarthy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Brendan will square off against Marathon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Archbishop McCarthy, they will head out on the road to square off against Donahue Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Donahue Catholic's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Archbishop McCarthy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
