The Sandusky Blue Streaks won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 67-26 loss at the hands of Norwalk. Sandusky has struggled against Norwalk recently, as their game on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Khiya Rameau was Sandusky's leading scorer, having posted nine points.
Niyanna Larkins took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Sandusky's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Norwalk, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.
Sandusky will be playing at home against Lorain at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lorain and Sandusky are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Norwalk, they will head out on the road to square off against Clyde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clyde will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 467th, while Norwalk is ranked 105th).
