Roman Martinez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Martinez and United South will head out to take on Eagle Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Martinez's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Panthers' three-game streak of wins on the road.
