San Tan Foothills' loss came despite strong showings from Cienna Witcher and Aj Williams. Witcher scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals, while Williams scored 19 points. The match was Williams' third in a row with at least ten points.
Casa Grande's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for San Tan Foothills, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Casa Grande will be playing at home against Desert Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Tan Foothills, they will head out on the road to face off against San Miguel at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
