In what's become a running theme this season, the Randolph-Clay Red Devils gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 68-31 victory over Quitman County at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Randolph-Clay.
Randolph-Clay found their leader in underclassman Tyrion Smith, who scored 14 points along with five assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaleen Gibson, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds.
Randolph-Clay has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Quitman County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph-Clay will face off against the Greenwave at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Terrell County's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Quitman County, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pataula Charter Academy has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 4.
