Bath County proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bryan Station Defenders a 1-0 shutout. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered an 8-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bath County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bryan Station, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
