The Richfield Tigers entered their tilt with the Hagerman Pirates with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Richfield claimed a resounding 46-15 victory over Hagerman on the road. 46 seems to be a good number for Richfield as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
It was another big night for Shelby Jones, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Clancy Patterson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and seven steals.
Despite the loss, Hagerman saw an underclassman step up: Krickit Shirlen wise scored eight points along with two steals and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Shirlen wise posted two or more blocks.
Richfield pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Hagerman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
Richfield will be playing at home against Hagerman at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hagerman, they will head out on the road to face off against Twin Falls Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Twin Falls Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on January 4th.
