After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Munford brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Briarcrest Christian Saints a 16-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Cougars have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Munford's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-11-1. As for Briarcrest Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.
