 Green Mountain's run defense was locked in: Dakota Ridge could only muster 1.7 yards per carry. While four picked up at least two  total tackles,  Maddie Amolsch stood above the rest. She made two total tackles. Green Mountain's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.1.
 Green Mountain's defense also made the game a nightmare for   Giana Fabrizo., racking up seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by  Savannah Trotter and  Audrea Hildebrand, who racked up  six sacks between them.
Green Mountain now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Dakota Ridge, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Mountain will host Bear Creek  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Dakota Ridge, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Doherty at 6:30  p.m.  on September 3.
