It was a good run, but Osage City unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Riverton Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Osage City was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22.

Amelia Stark paced Osage City's offense, picking up six kills. Stark got some help from Addison Watson and her 14 assists.

Osage City's loss dropped their record down to 27-13. As for Riverton, their win was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 37-4-1.

Osage City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Hoisington on the 30th. As for Riverton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Holton on the 30th.
